From June to September

FestiVini

FestiVini embodies the spirit of celebration in the heart of the Saumur vineyards, inviting amateurs and connoisseurs to explore the region's wine wealth. This annual event offers a series of gourmet and educational activities. Participants can immerse themselves in the world of wine through guided tastings, workshops, meetings with winemakers, as well as hiking, cycling and even horseback riding in the vineyards. FestiVini is also an opportunity to discover food and wine pairings through thematic dinners, highlighting the local culinary heritage.

Effervescences

The Effervescences festival is a rich, sparkling concept full of surprises! A nod to the history of traditional Saumur bubble houses, Effervescences also symbolizes beautiful moments of sharing, conviviality and pleasure with family, friends and lovers. Night markets, Music Festival, concerts, shows, outdoor cinema sessions, wooden games, highlights like Summerise, Station Jazz, Rock Session, Baila Comingo or Back to the kitsh... Not to be missed!

Street Art Parc Night Shows

For the 3rd year in a row, the Street Art Parc de Candes Saint Martin is organizing six colorful nights, every Tuesday from July 16 to August 20. An event not to be missed with musical entertainment and concerts, shows by the Fire Nomads Company "In fusion" at nightfall and catering and workshops for children all evening. Enjoy a magnificent setting on the banks of the Loire for an unparalleled artistic immersion. Reservations recommended.

The Stars of Fontevraud

The unmissable Royal Abbey of Fontevraud is adorned with a thousand lights this summer with a unique nocturnal journey in the footsteps of Eleanor of Aquitaine. Guided by the glow of the lanterns, visitors will embark on a unique journey of sounds and of lights. This show combines plays of light inside the monument, projections on its facades and sound effects, for a poetic journey that will leave the spectator with his head in the stars.

The Grandes Tables

The Grandes Tablées de Saumur transform the streets of Saumur into a huge open-air dining room. Participants gather around long tables to share a meal highlighting local products and regional wines. It is a celebration of gastronomy and conviviality, inviting locals and visitors to discover local flavors in a warm and festive atmosphere.

Harvest Festival at the Château de Saumur

A highlight of the Saumur back-to-school season, the Harvest Festival is celebrating its 20th edition this year and offers activities and entertainment for young and old, Saumur residents and tourists. For the record, in the 14th century, the Château de Saumur was already surrounded by vines, as evidenced by the illumination of the “Tres Riches Heures du Duc de Berry” calendar. The month of September, the month of the grape harvest, is also illustrated by the Château de Saumur.

Saumur Loire Festival

The Saumur Loire Festival is an event celebrating the culture and river history of the Loire, highlighting the region's traditional boats. Participants will have the chance to sail on these historic boats, exploring the Loire and Saumur in a unique way. The heart of this event, the Village Marine de Loire, will present local crafts, traditions and navigation professions. A tavern set up on the quays will offer local specialties, live music and a festive atmosphere. The festival will offer various activities, with concerts every evening, notably the Ruda Salska performance on Saturday, for an experience combining ska music and the spirit of the banks of the Loire.

The Cadre Noir musicals

Meet in the Grand Manège des écuyers to witness the meeting of classical music and equestrian art for this new edition of the Musicales du Cadre noir offering the magic of “live” music accompanying horses and squires.
